Who Is Natures Cavity Fighting Element

WHAT EXACTLY IS FLUORIDE ?

Fluoride is a naturally-occurring and abundant element/ mineral, that helps prevent cavities in children and adults by making enamel (the outer surface of your teeth) more resistant to the acid attacks that cause tooth decay.
At different stages in life we intake fluoride though different methods

WHY DO WE NEED FLUORIDE TO REMINERALIZE ?

 Because this process :

  • The tooth is attacked by acids in plaque and salvia
  • Calcium and phosphate dissolve from the enamel in the process of demineralization
  • Fluoride, phosphate, and calcium re-enter the enamel in the process called remineralization

HOW DO WE RECEIVE FLUORIDE?

Before teeth break through the gums- fluoride is taken in from beverages, food and dietary supplements, this makes tooth enamel stronger, making it easier to resist tooth decay. This is called a “systemic” benefit.

After eruption of teeth, fluoride helps remineralize (Rebuild) weakened tooth enamel and reverses early signs of tooth decay. When you brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste, or rinse with Fluoride rinse this is called a “topical” benefit.

Topical Fluorides

  • Tooth paste or gel
  • Fluoride mouth rinse

b.Professionally applied

AT YOUR NEXT DENTIST CLEANING

Although fluoride treatments are used on kids after cleanings, as an adult, you also can benefit from a fluoride varnish treatment. You may be a good candidate for this type of treatment if you display the following characteristics:

  • You have sensitive teeth.
  • You have frequent tooth decay.
  • You have exposed tooth roots and gum recession that leave you vulnerable to decay.
  • You don’t brush or floss your teeth frequently.
  • You have a dry mouth.
  • You drink soda frequently, or other drinks that are acidic.
  • You have multiple fillings or crowns.
  • Your teeth have developmental defects.
  • You have braces, which can trap plaque in the brackets.

Be sure to use Natures cavity fighting element to strengthen your teeth and aid in cavity prevention at your next dental visit.
